What we do with what you tell us.

What data we collect

When	What	Why
When you tell us about your business	Your name, email, phone, and whatever you share: text, photos, files (images and PDFs, up to 5 MB), your Instagram or current website.	To design your proposal and send it to you.
When you approve and pay	Your receipt/invoice data (RUT, legal name, business activity, address), plus the date, time, IP address and browser you approved and paid from, as a record of your acceptance. Your card details go to Flow; Gauge never sees or stores them.	To charge you, issue the tax document the law requires, and be able to show what you approved and when.
While your page is live	What we discuss on chat and the changes you request.	To provide support and make adjustments.
When you visit gauge.cl	Usage statistics without identifying you: pages viewed, country, device type. We use Umami, which uses no cookies and doesn't track across sites.	To know which parts of the page work.

What we don't do

• We never sell or share your data with anyone.
• We don't send you advertising or newsletters: only emails about your project and notices that affect you (for example, that your domain is expiring).
• We don't use tracking cookies or social-network pixels on gauge.cl. Your browser only stores your theme and language preference, and that never leaves it.
• We don't process data from anyone under 14. If it reaches us by mistake, we delete it.

Who else sees it

Only the providers we need to work, each with just what its function requires:

• Web3Forms receives what you send through the form and forwards it to us by email.
• Flow processes payment. It's the one that sees your card.
• Google Cloud runs the service that creates your order and records your payment; it keeps the technical logs of each request for 30 days.
• Neon hosts the database where your order, billing details and proposal live.
• our transactional email provider (Resend or Amazon SES) sends the emails about your proposal and your payment. It sees your address and the content of those emails.
• Google Workspace hosts our email and the files you share with us.
• WhatsApp (Meta), if you choose to write to us there. Their terms apply.
• Umami, for anonymous statistics.

Some of these providers are outside Chile. We choose ones that comply with European data regulation (GDPR), which is more demanding than Chile's.

How long

• If we show you a proposal and you don't approve it, we delete what you sent us after 90 days, or sooner if you ask.
• If you work with us, we keep your information for as long as the service lasts, and tax documents for up to 6 years after, as the law requires.
• Visit statistics never identify you, so there's nothing to delete.

Your rights

You can ask us, at any time, to know what data of yours we hold, correct it, delete it, or object to its use. Write to hola@gauge.cl and we'll respond within 10 business days, at no cost. These rights are set out in Chilean Law 19.628 on privacy protection and, once in force, Law 21.719 that replaces it, whose Data Protection Agency you can also file a complaint with.

Security

Everything travels encrypted (HTTPS), access to our accounts uses two-factor verification, and only the team working on your page sees your project. If an incident affecting your data ever happens, we'll tell you, with what happened and what we did.

About the pages we publish for you

This policy is gauge.cl's. Your page is yours: the data it receives (contacts, bookings, orders) goes to accounts in your name, and you're the one handling it. If you need a privacy policy for your page, we draft one as part of the project; just ask.

Changes

If we change this policy, the date above changes and, if the change affects you, we notify you by email. The current version is always on this page.
